DIAGNOSIS AND ASSESSMENT of neurodevelopmental conditions, assessments are face to face (clinic rooms in St Albans) or remote - £2,500
Adults wishing to access a diagnostic assessment are requested to fill in screen questionnaires that we provide via email initially. After scoring and interpreting these questionnaires, we will offer appropriate assessment appointments. We provide: a full multidisciplinary diagnostic assessment that includes an in-depth interview with the adults parent / partner using the Autism Diagnostic Interview -Revised (ADI-R), and an assessment of the adult presenting with possible ASD using the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS-2).
Following this assessment appointment - which takes about 2.5 to 3.5 hours (it involves two clinicians working simultaneously with parent / partner and the person requiring the assessment) - a combined report detailing the information obtained from the interview and assessment is produced. This also includes recommendations regarding further requirements (such as further assessments of cognition / language/ executive functioning / theory of mind, referral to other professionals) and suggestions for the implementation of appropriate management strategies. We pride ourselves on the expedient delivery of reports (2 weeks after the full assessment).
